Curriculum Overview

The curriculum offered at Oxford High School enables our girls to enjoy a breadth and depth of study whilst developing as enquiring and independent thinkers. We tailor our curriculum to their needs and aim to ensure each girl is able to take the GCSE and A-Level courses they desire.

Outstanding examination results place our girls amongst the top achievers in the country but we also place great value and emphasis on the route to these successes. For example, we do not take any examinations early, preferring to have time to respond to the “what if …?” questions raised by the girls and to explore topics in greater depth. The girls also need time to engage with the opportunities provided within the popular and diverse extra-curricular provision.
