School Council visit the Lord Mayor's Parlour - February 2008
On Monday 28th January the School Council were lucky enough to meet the sheriff of Oxford, at the Lord Mayor's Parlour. She was a very nice lady who told us about her job and how she helps to make Oxford a better place. The Sheriff wears a gold chain around her neck. The chain is very heavy and engraved with names of past Sheriffs. We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip and learnt a lot.

The Junior School's Buddy Bench - November 2007
The School Council came up with the idea of having a Buddy Bench which the children could use at anytime if they were feeling sad or lonely. School Council Representatives will act as a buddy patrol so that children never feel they are alone. There is always someone willing to help introduce them to new friends and to let them join in playground games.
